Northern Nevada Native American Athletic Association
The N3A3 is an organization that will promote athletic competition among Native Americans from around the U.S. and Canada, here in Northern Nevada.
 
The N3A3’s goal is to host various athletic competitions in the Reno/Sparks area with the intent to raise money, so in turn the N3A3 can sponsor, donate, and provide scholarships to the various Native American youth and teen athletic organizations in Northern Nevada.  Athletic competition amongst Native American people is part of our tradition, and the N3A3 truly believes that the Native American youth are of the utmost importance in maintaining this tradition.  It is the intention that the N3A3 be an organization that exhibits integrity, generosity and concern in the helping of the Native American youth and Native American youth organizations of the Northern Nevada area through sponsorships, donations and scholarships.

Nationals Basketball Tournament

Date: April 16th, 17th & 18th, 2010

Location: Reno, NV

Entry Fee: $350.00 per team.  Due to issues with last years tournament there will be absolutely no carrying in of entry fees. Only those teams that have paid their entry fees in full by the deadline will be entered into the tournament. So, contact your sponsors and gather your money from your players early. Only cashier checks, money orders or Tribal issued checks made payable to NIAA Basketball will be accepted. Personal checks will not be accepted.

Deadline:  April 9th, 2010

Awards:  1st - 4th, MVP, All-Tourney, Mr. & Ms. Hustle. 12 team awards will be handed out.

Format:  Double elimination w/ a single game championship

Player Registration: Based on feedback from coaches and players, all players will be required to register prior to their first game.  All players will be required to report to the player registration table and provide proof of Tribal enrollment or Certification of Indian blood.  Only official Tribal issued ID's or Certification of Indian blood on official Tribal or BIA letterhead will be accepted.  Absolutely no photo copies of Tribal ID's or Certification of Indian blood will be accepted.  Any verification that is deemed to be false, altered or not authentic will not be accepted.  No player will be allowed to participate until they are registered. Once registered, each player will receive a players pass which will be needed for entry without having to pay admission.

Host Hotel: Sands Regency Casino. Rooms are $39.00 + taxes (Thurs & Sun) & $55.00 + taxes (Fri & Sat). Reserve your rooms by calling 1 (866) 386-7829 and refer to group code: NIAA415 Rooms MUST be booked by Thursday, April 1, 2010.

2010 Nationals Party

The 2010 Nationals Party will be held at the Host Hotel, Sands Regency Ballroom. The Nationals Party will be held on Saturday from 9:00pm - 3:00am. There will be a large No Host Bars, Dance Floor and Native DJ Rezdog from Chico Ca, playing jams all night. Wristbands will be sold at the admissions table during the tournament and at the door.The Nationals Party is open to all players, family and friends. Don't miss out on this PARTY!
